Torn mesh, bent frames, sliding door screens that will not track. Rescreened or rebuilt at our shop on Lewis Street, usually the quickest and cheapest job we do.
A screen is a frame and a sheet of mesh, and the fix depends on which one has failed. If the frame is straight and the corners are sound, we pull the old mesh and spline, stretch new mesh into the same frame and trim it. That is rescreening, and it is the cheaper answer by a long way.
If the frame is bent, corroded, or the corners have let go, we build a new screen to the size of the opening. New frame, new mesh, new hardware, made to fit.
Either way, the hardware on the old screen, the clips, springs, pull tabs and rollers, can often be reused. Hang on to it rather than throwing it out.
The dog, a hailstorm, a ladder, or just years of sun. If the frame is fine, this is a rescreen.
Mesh ages in the sun and stops holding tension. Rescreening with fresh mesh brings the whole screen back.
Aluminum frames bend when a screen is forced or dropped, and a bent frame will not seat in the window. That is a new screen, built to the opening.
Usually worn rollers or a frame out of square. Bring it in and we will tell you which it is. If the frame has gone, we build a new one.

Bring it to the shop. For most screens this is the fastest route. We are at 118 Lewis Street in Ketchum, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. No appointment needed to drop off.
Or we come to you. For a houseful of screens, large sliding door screens, or anything you cannot get off the window, we come out and measure.
Price. Screens are priced by size. Measure the frame, width by height in inches, and the Instant Estimate gives you a ballpark for rescreening or a new screen in about a minute. Your exact price is confirmed when we see the screen.
